I love to watch Bologna from above, with its colorful roofs, the old buildings’ battlements, the churches’ domes and the sweet hills’ profile. There are some hotel in Bologna with panoramic rooftops from where it’s possibile to admire such a view.

AEMILIA HOTEL
Aemilia Hotel, 4 stars hotel, sia located really close to Porta San Vitale, perfect for reaching the city center by foot or to the Sant’Orsola Hospital. It has a fantastic big terrace from where to admire Bologna’s skyline. This rooftop is perfect for having breakfast, drinking an aperitivo or getting tan in the summer, as it has a lovely solarium with jacuzzi area.
HOTEL TOURING
As you maybe aklready know, Hotel Touring is for sure one of my favorite hotels in Bologna city center. First of all it’is lovely run by an amazing family who will make you soon feel like at home! Then they have a lovely chic but welcoming atmosphere. Beside the amazing rooms (some with incredible affrescos on the ceiling) it has an amazing rooftop, with a WOW view over the city hystorical center.
Sleeping in this hotel and having the privilege to enjoy this view at every time it’s such a luxury♡. During summertime there’s the chance to go there, for aperitivo’s nights, but you have to book it in very advance ’cause it’s just for few people. I LOVE this place!
HOTEL SAN DONATO
Hotel San Donato is located in the old Palazzo Malvasia in the super central (and a bit chaotic) University area of via Zamboni. The hotel is very simple and a little bit retro, but if you’re looking for a place from where it seems you can touch the Two Towers… well… this is the place! How about having breakfast here???
The hotel hai also another super wide terrace on the last floor, here it’s possible to have a drink for an aperitivi with a super view:
SAVHOTEL BOLOGNA FIERA
Amongst panoramic view hotels in Bologna I put one that is out of the city center, in the Bologna Fiera’s area. If you are staying here for work, this hotel can combine business with pleasure. Savhotel Bologna is walking distance to the Fiera and it also has a lovely modern solarium rooftop, with an area where you can have a drink. 
The view is on a periferic area, but also above the Sacro Cuore Cathedral’s dome and the hills with San Luca!
